The Crook County Public Library System enables the people of Crook County to cherish their history and expand their personal horizons, through free and easily accessible information and services.

Senior Center offering home delivered meals, congregate meals, crafts, cards, and activities, loan closet, public rides locally and trips for out of town medical and shopping needs, and recreational trips.

A Carbon County Library System Library Card may be used at any of the eight locations in the county or at other WYLD libraries across the state. Need picture ID and proof of address for library card application.

We strive to help people meet their basic needs and if we can surpass that and assist them to a better way of life then truly, together, we have accomplished a great thing. If you have a need please stop in. We typically assist with past due utilities, rent, temporary housing, food, diapers, formula, filling out paperwork, pet food, prescriptions, emergency fuel, if we cannot help you directly then we will do our best to connect you with someone who can.

The Burns Branch Library is located in the heart of Main Street, next to Wyoming Bank & Trust and down the street from the U.S. Post Office. It serves a population of more than 300 people, including the residents within Laramie County School District #2. Curbside delivery is available all hours the library is open, weather permitting.
