Fremont County Prevention Program collaborates with coalitions/taskforces and community groups working to collaboratively provide resources, education, and advocacy for mental health and substance abuse prevention.

DARE is a law enforcement officer-led series of classroom lessons designed to teach students good decision making skills to help them lead safe and healthy lives. The DARE curriculum is designed to provide students from K-12th grade with the knowledge and tools to resist peer pressure and lead productive drug and violence free lives.

The Community Prevention Coalition of Teton County includes parents, educators, law enforcement, health and mental health professionals, youth-serving organizations, local businesses, faith leaders, and local government. Whose purpose is to promote a safe, healthy, and vibrant community, whose culture encourages connectivity.

NCPC recognizes a concern of substance abuse and misuse in our community. They work together to address these concerns and prevent substance abuse by promoting healthy and positive choices. NCPC subcommittees include: Family and Parenting, Community Prevention Strategies Group, 21st CCLC afterschool programs, and Youth Leadership and pro-social activities.
